Italy map 2

My second ever attempt at gouache. This is really difficult but I'm determined to get better at it.. I will keep posting these attempts. In the hopes that public indifference will help me improve. The colors are off again. :(

Italian maps

Playing around with maps still... Why?... Because I love them! This didn't turn out as I had hoped but I'm learning as I go..  So what is this about?  I like Italian crime movies and I had that in mind as I made this. I am going to be doing a couple more of these before I get back to "Revolution in Transit" Also, this is a really bad scan of the image.

It's not movie related but I have maps of the Paris Metro kicking around and I am also really fascinated by revolutions, especially the French Revolution. 3 more of these to come.
